Oval and Figure 8 Rules for Drivers and Pit Crew


NO BEER, ALCOHOL, OR DRUGS CONSUMED DURING THE EVENT

ALL DRIVERS MUST ATTEND THE DRIVER'S MEETING BEFORE THE START OF THE RACES!


  1. No direct hitting between wheels on driver's side. This will lead to automatic disqualification
  2. No intentional inside cutting of track. You may come from outside back in.
  3. No intentional spinning cars around. You will be put in back of pack via discretion of the flagman or judges. If the car being spun around deliberately is in 1, 2,3 position the race will be stopped and cars 1, 2, 3 will get their positions back and the car spinning the car around will go to the back.
  4. Driver must remain in dead car unless instructed by official.
  5. Driver to right has the right-of-way.
  6. A fire that stops the race twice disqualifies that car for the heat. Excessive smoking cars will be ineligible to run.
  7. Length of race will be determined by the number of laps.
  8. All drivers are running at their own risk and must have a waiver to participate. Under 18 must be signed also.
  9. Any harassment of judges or Fair Board Members or any other contestant by a contestant will be barred for 2 years.
  10. All cars not removed in two days become property of the fair.
  11. Drivers bringing cars to the race should be aware of State Statutes and Regulations for towing and hauling vehicles. NO DRIVING
  12. All cars must enter and leave fairgrounds at the West entrance gate off County Road #1. Gate is open for all drivers at 2:00 PM each day of race.
  13. Disobeying BLACK FLAG will automatically disqualify you from the pits for 1 year.
  14. ALL WINDOW NETS MUST BE REMOVABLE
