The Woodpicks play an acoustic mix of Gospel, Bluegrass/Country and Americana music, as well as their own songs. The Woodpicks perform at County fairs, festivals and events throughout the Midwest. They came together in 2005 playing venues in the northwest regions of minnesota. The members have 30 plus years of experience playing in various groups throughout the continental United States, Canada and Alaska. Be it country, rock-n-roll or oldtime music, the Woodpicks share an enjoyable stage show, with a strong emphasis on vocal harmonies.
They have an instrumental and vocal presence unlike any other. Be sure so catch them during this years Aitkin County Fair on Thursday, July 11, 2012 at 4:00, 6:00 and 7:00pm.
Squeak the Clown
With talents in unicycle riding, juggling, knife throwing, fire tricks, small bits of illusion, and ballooning, Squeak is a treat for everyone to watch.

Kira Layli, caricature artist, recently won international acclaim when she competed in Las Vegas against artists in 14 countries at the International Caricature Artists Convention. She took 1st place in Best Body Situation Style and 3rd place in Best Cartoon Style. She has exhibited her skills at conventions, fairs in Minnesota and Iowa including the Iowa State Fair, and festivals and events in Florida. A graduate of Ames, Iowa Community College in Art she has garnered great recognition in the Midwest as one of the best caricature artists of the day.
