Gift Basket Contest

Sponsored and Judged by Aitkin Flowers and Gifts

No Cost to enter

Attention to all individuals, groups, organizations, and/or businesses of Aitkin County

Use your creativity to construct a special gift basket.

Bring it to the Home Activities Building on Tuesday, July 9, between 8 AM and 5 PM.

Baskets to be judged Tuesday evening by Aitkin Flowers and Gifts.

The category for this year is:

  • Life's Celebrations - births, weddings, first job, holidays, retirements, a great day, a combination of events, etc.
    Anything can be celebrated.
    Out of the box thinking is encouraged!

Entries will be divided into two classes:

Class 01: Adult

Class 02: Youth (15 and younger)

Prizes awarded in each class are:
1st: $10 Aitkin Flowers and Gifts gift certificate
2nd: $7.50 Aitkin Flowers and Gifts gift certificate
3rd: $5 Aitkin Flowers and Gifts gift certificate

All gift baskets will be auctioned off at the Watters Pavilion on Saturday, July 13 at 4:30 PM.

Registration for the auction will begin at 4:15pm. 50% of the proceeds will be given to the exhibitor and 50% will be given to the Aitkin County Agricultural Society to be allocated for the Horse Barn project.
